Matt Murdock’s portrayal by Charlie Cox in Spider-Man: No Way Home was a comeback. After portraying the role in the three-season Daredevil series on Netflix, this was the actor’s first appearance in the MCU. After Cox’s brief appearance in No Way Home, fans started to wonder what the future held for Cox with Marvel Studios.
Many Daredevil fans are uncertain about if the Netflix series is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe canon and whether Born Again will be a sequel to that narrative or something completely different. Cox recently discussed the subject in public and provided some perspective.
Confusion on Daredevil Born Again
Matt Murdock says that He discussed the matter with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, who clarified that the new series “is a Season 1” and “not a Season 4,” which, in Cox’s opinion, is “the way to go:”
“It is a Season 1, it is not Season 4, so it is a whole new thing. Which I think is the way to go. If you are going to do it again, do it differently.”
Where to watch Daredevil: Born Again
Daredevil: Born Again will only be available on Disney+, just as the first three seasons of the show, which were Netflix Originals.
How many episodes will there be of Daredevil: Born Again?
